Swing
Tempo Card.

Drop in one swing. Get your tempo measured against the number tour players share — how long you take back, how long you take down, and the one thing to work on. No signup, no email, nothing uploaded.

Why tempo

Tempo is the
honest number.

Almost every swing tip you have ever been given is about position — where the club is, where your hips are, what your wrist is doing. Positions are camera tricks. Move the phone six feet and the same swing looks like a different swing.

Timing doesn’t lie like that. How long your backswing takes and how long your downswing takes are the same numbers from any angle, and the ratio between them is the single most consistent thing about good players. Tour swings land around three to one — roughly three ticks back for every one tick down. It holds for long hitters and short ones, tall and short, on tour and off.

“You can’t copy a position. You can copy a rhythm.”

How to film it

One swing.
Full speed.

Phone vertical, propped against your bag, roughly facing your chest or straight down the target line. Whole body in frame, head to feet, about 8–10 feet back.

Hit one normal swing at full speed — don’t pose it, don’t slow it down for the camera. Keep the clip 4 to 10 seconds with only that one swing in it.

One swing. Normal speed. Whole body.

Was it filmed in slow motion?

Slow motion stretches every number. If you shot it in slo‑mo, say so and the times get corrected back to real speed.
